who they are

Sigma's Bookshelf Founder Justin M. Anderson

One of our nonprofit partners this year is Sigma’s Bookshelf, www.SigmasBookshelf.com, what is believed to be the first book publishing company exclusively for teen authors. The company, which is a project of Springboard for the Arts, was started up by Minnetonka, Minn., teenager Justin M. Anderson, 16, a twice published author who didn’t think it was fair that he was the only teen he knew with a book out. Since its founding in Oct. 2016, the company has brought five teen authored books to market, and sold hundreds of books. All services for the teen authors are free. They get royalties for books sold online and in stores. To view and/or purchase the available books, go to www.SigmasBookshelf.com/books. To make a tax deductible donation to the company to help bring more teenagers' books to market, go to www.SigmasBookshelf.com/donate.  READ MORE

Feed. House. Empower.

Inclusivi-tee is excited to announce our second quarter non-profit partner, House of Charity. House of Charity was started in Minneapolis in the 1950's with the aim of "transforming lives, one person at a time." They have moved locations several times since their beginnings and have been in their current home on south 8th Street since 1976. One of their primary goals is to "help struggling individuals meet their basic human needs of food and shelter while reducing barriers to their long-term self-sufficiency."  READ MORE

Be grateful, be kind, be gentle. Laugh, hug, smile, dance. Be curious, listen, spend time in nature, spend time alone. Fight for your neighbors around the world, fight for the earth. Believe in something. Breathe.
